How many sessions to expect, what a first visit involves, and how acupuncture fits with the care you already have.
Call +91 90903 43428Yes, when performed by a properly trained practitioner using sterile, single-use needles. Your health history is reviewed at the first appointment so treatment is planned around it.
The needles are solid and much finer than the hollow needles used for injections. Most people feel a brief prick as a needle goes in, then warmth, heaviness or tingling at the point; some notice very little. Needles are sterile and single-use, and depth and number are adjusted to your comfort.
Your practitioner sets out an expected course at the first assessment, based on the condition, how long you’ve had it and how you respond.
It depends on the consultation and the treatment plan agreed with you. The first visit is longer because it includes the assessment. Call the clinic for current session lengths.

You don’t need to know what treatment you need before contacting us. Bring your previous reports, scans or prescriptions if you have them. The practitioner can then assess your history and discuss the next step.
Most people can. Some conditions, medicines and circumstances change how we treat, and a few rule acupuncture out. Your practitioner assesses that at the first consultation.
