Why Life Meridian

Because better recovery starts with looking at the whole person.

Pain rarely exists in isolation. A recurring headache, stiff neck, back pain, poor sleep or long-standing discomfort can affect how you move, work, rest and live. At Life Meridian, we take time to understand the person behind the complaint before recommending a treatment plan.

Inside the Life Meridian clinic

Ancient practice. Modern assessment.

Acupuncture has been practiced for centuries. At Life Meridian, traditional acupuncture principles are combined with a detailed patient history and modern clinical assessment to understand your symptoms and your individual needs.

Drug-free, and fully planned.

Our primary treatment approach is individualised acupuncture, planned according to your condition, symptoms, history and clinical presentation.

Treatment by trained professionals.

Technique, hygiene, assessment and practitioner training are what make the treatment work. Properly performed acupuncture using sterile needles is generally considered safe, while inappropriate technique or non-sterile needles can cause serious complications.

You deserve to understand your condition before you start treating it.

Why Our Approach Is Different

Specialised acupuncture care

Treatment that starts with your concern.

The conditions we treat most often, and what a course of treatment involves for each.

We treat many other conditions too, from arthritis and vertigo to sleep and thyroid concerns. Tell us what you’re dealing with and we’ll take it from there.

Before your first session

Three questions almost every first-time patient asks.

The three we are asked most often, answered before you book rather than after.

Does acupuncture hurt?

Usually, the sensation is very different from an injection.

Acupuncture needles are extremely fine. Most people feel a brief sensation as the needle goes in, then a heaviness, warmth or mild tingling that settles within moments.

Is the relief temporary?

Your plan runs over a course of sessions, set at your first assessment.

The number and frequency of sessions depend on the condition being treated, how long you’ve had the problem, your health history and how your body responds. We focus on understanding your progress rather than promising a fixed number of sessions.

Why do some people say acupuncture didn’t work?

Because treatment quality matters.

The right assessment, appropriate technique, sterile equipment, practitioner training and a complete treatment plan all matter. Every plan is built around the person in front of the practitioner.

What happens next

Your first visit, explained.

No confusing process. No rushed conversation.

01

Consult & History

We start by listening. Your symptoms, timeline, previous treatments, lifestyle, medical history and what you’re hoping to improve all matter.

02

Combined Assessment

Your practitioner reads the whole picture — history, examination and reports — and decides which areas the treatment will work on.

03

Treatment Plan

You’ll understand the recommended approach, expected sessions and what the treatment is designed to address.

04

Recovery & Prevention

As you progress, treatment moves from settling the immediate complaint to keeping it from returning.

“I believe patients deserve two things before they begin treatment: to be heard, and to understand why a particular approach is being recommended.

Over the years, I have seen how long-standing pain and health concerns can change more than just the body. They can affect sleep, confidence, movement, work and everyday life.

Our approach is to understand the individual first, assess the condition carefully and then develop an individualised acupuncture treatment plan based on the patient’s condition, symptoms and clinical presentation.

Each condition and each patient is treated on their own terms, and the plan follows from what the assessment actually finds.”

Frequently asked

Before you book, here are the answers.

If your question isn’t here, call or WhatsApp the clinic on +91 90903 43428.

Yes, when performed by a properly trained practitioner using sterile, single-use needles. Your health history is reviewed at the first appointment so treatment is planned around it.

The needles are solid and much finer than the hollow needles used for injections. Most people feel a brief prick as a needle goes in, then warmth, heaviness or tingling at the point; some notice very little. Needles are sterile and single-use, and depth and number are adjusted to your comfort.

Your practitioner sets out an expected course at the first assessment, based on the condition, how long you’ve had it and how you respond.

It depends on the consultation and the treatment plan agreed with you. The first visit is longer because it includes the assessment. Call the clinic for current session lengths.

Yes. We treat back pain, neck pain and sciatica with individualised acupuncture, planned around where the pain starts, what makes it worse and how long you have had it.

Yes. We treat migraine and recurring headaches with acupuncture designed around your pattern, your triggers and your clinical history.

It runs alongside them. Bring your prescriptions to your first appointment so your practitioner can plan around them.

Yes. Acupuncture runs alongside conventional treatment, and your practitioner will tell you how the two fit together for your condition.

You don’t need to know what treatment you need before contacting us. Bring your previous reports, scans or prescriptions if you have them. The practitioner can then assess your history and discuss the next step.

Most people can. Some conditions, medicines and circumstances change how we treat, and a few rule acupuncture out. Your practitioner assesses that at the first consultation.
